Work for all - conveyor chains work!
PASSAGE gGmbH
Project term: 01.01.2025 - 31.12.2028

The ‘Work for all - conveyor chains work!’ project run by PASSAGE gGmbH promotes the participation of long-term unemployed people on SGB II benefits. Using the funding instrument ‘Participation in the labour market’ (§ 16i SGB II), the individuals are employed subject to social insurance contributions and their daily structure and employability are strengthened. The aim is to give them the prospect of moving into unsubsidised employment and to move closer to the general labour market in the long term. The project also offers even lower-threshold employment opportunities on an hourly basis as an initial low-threshold introduction to further support services offered by the Jobcenter (Tagwerk). In addition, the project supports participation in the context of non-profit work.
By deploying employees in the office and typing service of the Community Centre Inklusiv in Kirchdorf-Süd and in a textile workshop, social support services for disadvantaged and low-income groups are strengthened, particularly in the Hamburg-Mitte district. Other different, low-threshold, meaningful employment opportunities are available for hourly employment at Tagwerk.
The project supports Hamburg's strategy to secure a skilled workforce and the Joint Labour Market Programme.
