Ways into the World
Arbeit und Leben Hamburg e. V.
Project term: 01.01.2025 - 31.12.2028

In cooperation with vocational schools and the Hamburg Institute for Vocational Education and Training, ‘Ways into the World’ supports international mobility programmes for trainees and teachers at vocational schools, which are generally funded by Erasmus Plus. The professional mobility of skilled workers is of great importance in order to strengthen the common economic area of the European Union and to be able to react quickly to the need for skilled labour in the internal market.
Participants are supported in planning their stay abroad and prepared for their time abroad through preparatory seminars, but are also supported by the project during and after their time abroad. During their internship abroad, participants acquire new specialist knowledge and can improve their language and intercultural skills.
Among other things, the project supports Hamburg's strategy to secure a skilled workforce.
