Hamburger Arbeitsassistenz

The aim of the project is to qualify eight educational specialists at the University of Applied Sciences (HAW).
The Hamburger Arbeitsassistenz (HAA) works in a broad network and benefits from the experience of the Institute for Inclusive Education in Kiel. The HAW is responsible for the scientific monitoring of the qualification and the implementation of the experience of the prospective educational specialists in the Hamburg university landscape. The experiential knowledge includes bringing experience of living with a disability and disability-specific support needs as well as the topic of inclusion into the social space of the university and making teaching inclusive.
The project refers to Hamburg State Action Plan to implement the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the framework programme to enhance gender equality.
