The ‘Neu Start Arbeit Plus’ project offers counselling and learning opportunities for people who are in receipt of a citizen's allowance and have reading and writing difficulties.
The project offers basic education programmes for unemployed people who want to learn to read and write better. For them, integration into the labour market is particularly difficult. This is where ‘Neu Start Arbeit Plus’ comes in. This is realised through mobile and outreach basic education counselling as well as target group-specific intensive learning offers.
‘Neu Start Arbeit Plus’ also works together with multipliers to break down the barriers that people with reading and writing difficulties experience when (re)entering the labour market.
The project supports Hamburg's strategy to secure a skilled workforce.
