The project supports owners of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), their employees as well as the self-employed and business founders in the centres of selected RISE funding areas, with a particular focus on people with a migration background. The aim is to overcome economic barriers and better utilise the potential of tradespeople through qualification measures and coaching. One focus is on digitalisation in trade and services.
The economic analysis of the need for action enables the development of customised qualification and coaching offers. In addition, economic neighbourhood management is being set up to stabilise the supply locations.
The project is being implemented in close cooperation with district authorities, area development and local companies and stakeholders. The aim is to maintain the local economy as an important part of local supply and to strengthen the social function of the centres as social hubs.
The project supports the Framework Integrated Urban Development Hamburg (RISE).
