"Let's do it!" - Integration for Refugees

The project supports refugees of different origins and ages who live in public accommodation and have so far made little use of offers for their professional and social integration.
Through outreach work on site, they are activated and specifically referred to central contact points such as the Hamburg Welcome Center (HWC), the Jobcenter, the employment agency or the Youth Employment Agency (JBA). They also receive support in participating in language courses, internships and training programmes as well as advice on social challenges. The aim is to strengthen their motivation, independence and integration in the long term.
The project supports Hamburg's strategy to secure a skilled workforce, the Youth Employment Agency and the integration concept ‘We, the city of Hamburg!’.
