Job Coach – Opportunities for parents

‘Job Coach’ supports the professional (re-)entry of low-skilled parents without a recognised vocational qualification with or without SGB II benefits. There is a particular focus on single parents and female parents with a migration or refugee background.
The support starts during or after parental leave and offers individual coaching and the preparation of meaningful application documents as well as placement in local qualification opportunities and help with organising childcare. Life-determining factors such as indebtedness, the housing situation and health problems are included in the coaching process.
The project supports Hamburg's strategy to secure a skilled workforce, the Joint Labour Market Programme and the framework programme to enhance gender equality.
