InStart - Further development of platform approach

‘InStart’ is a programme for (solo) self-employed people and small businesses with up to ten employees who are threatened with insolvency or have already become insolvent. The aim is to lead them out of the emergency situation and help them to realise a well-prepared new start with or without insolvency. This includes guiding them through the wide range of counselling services available in Hamburg.
Through personal and telephone counselling, online help, digital qualification and training modules, professional support and, if necessary, financial support to kick-start business operations, those affected should be empowered to secure their economic existence independently again. The project's support and qualification programme is integrated into a digital platform.
The project supports Hamburg's strategy to secure a skilled workforce and the Joint Labour Market Programme. Thanks to its platform-based digitalisation approach, it also contributes to the digital strategy for Hamburg and the regional innovation strategy of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg.
