The project ‘Vocational training: dual & inclusive (d&i)’ supports young people with disabilities or impairments. For successful, long-term integration into working life, they need equal participation in dual education programmes in the transition from school to work.

The project ensures that disabilities and any special educational needs are recognised, support services are provided and compensation for disadvantages is recognised. To this end, the project supports school teams with specialist expertise, advice and training.

‘Vocational education: dual & inclusive (d&i)’ refers to Hamburg State Action Plan to implement the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and supports the Hamburg Senate's goal of ensuring that Hamburg's education system fulfils the mandate of inclusion at all levels.
