Project term: 1 January 2017 - 31 December 2020

Youth Active Plus

‘Youth Active Plus’ supports young adults with multiple problems who are usually not in employment, education or training (known as ’NEETs’). It helps clients to develop plans for the future by actively reaching out to, and accompanying, them as well as providing qualification and job offerings. The project’s services are coordinated by the Johann-Daniel-Lawaetz Foundation and provided in over 30 districts throughout the city with the help of 12 cooperation partners. All participants work closely with existing youth welfare institutions such as local youth welfare services  and the Youth Employment Agency. A key aspect of this project is the successful interlinking of youth welfare and employment market policies to provide young adults in vulnerable situations, who are difficult to reach, with long-term training and employment prospects.
