Servicepoint Free Movement of EU Workers

Arbeit und Leben Hamburg
Project term: 1 January 2017 - 31 December 2020

Servicepoint Free Movement of EU Workers

‘Servicepoint Free Movement of EU Workers’ provides EU citizens, particularly from eastern and south-eastern Europe, with advice on labour law-related issues. Clients are provided with information in their own languages; it covers their right to settle in Hamburg; normal working conditions and labour, social and tax law, thus enabling them to assert their rights as employees. The Servicepoint’s activities are making a contribution to ensuring that the principle of “equal pay for equal work at the same place” applies in Hamburg. Over and above this, the project is helping to achieve the goals set out in the DIRECTIVE 2014/54/EU on measures facilitating the exercise of rights conferred on workers in the context of freedom of movement for workers.
