Long-term, quality employment

Over 30 million euros of ESF funding is available for projects in Hamburg which are aimed at “promoting sustainable and quality employment and supporting labour mobility”.

Long-term, quality employment

Projects receiving ESF support include measures to attract people seeking employment and the unemployed into employment which is subject to compulsory social security contributions; to prepare young people for entry into working life and to assist women in finding employment after extended periods of parental leave.

Project examples:

• Educational coaching: Four ESF-funded projects accompany young people located throughout Hamburg prior to and during their vocational training.

• The “Service Point Part-Time VocationalTraining” accompanies young fathers and mothers during their vocational training.

• The “3rd Hamburg Qualification Campaign” provides employees with health care related qualifications.
